Calvary's Mission seeks deliver food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack basic living essentials due to famine, war, poverty, or natural disaster across the world. In our local neighborhood we aid those who aren't making ends meet by distributing food.
The Mayor’s Office has recently published a study that shows that 2 out of 5 New Yorkers rely on food pantries and soup kitchens to feed themselves. We believe it is vital that working families in our local community and abroad get access to the help that they deserve.
Currently, we distribute food to thousands of working families in New York City. We want to go further and find ways to prevent the need through free job training and other services. We also have distributed food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to needy individuals across the world.
There are many ways! We are in need of a new location, donations can help us pay for this and allow us to continue feeding thousands of families a week. You could also volunteer at the pantry on Saturdays or partner with us!
